Bei diesem Objekt handelt es sich um einen wunderschönen Dunkelnebel, der sich im unglaublich dichten Sternfeld des Sternbilds Skorpion befindet, in Richtung des Zentrums unserer Milchstraßengalaxie.

Der Staub auf dem gesamten Bild erzeugt einen Orangestich im Sternfeld. In der Mitte des Bildes ist die interstellare Staubwolke so dicht, dass sie das Licht aller Hintergrundsterne vollständig blockiert. Die Wolke sieht aus wie ein Delphin, der seinem Abendessen nachjagt.

This object is a beautiful dark nebula located in the incredibly dense star field of the Scorpius constellation, towards the center of our Milky Way galaxy.

Dust throughout the entire image creates an orange cast to the star field. In the center of the image, the interstellar dust cloud is so dense that it completely blocks the light from all of the background stars. The cloud has the appearance of a dolphin chasing its dinner.
